Create Spaces is looking for an entrepreneurial, sales-driven person to help build our growing Audio Visual business. This is an opportunity for a proven salesperson who wants more than just another sales role—you’ll have the opportunity to help build a business, develop a team, and grow into a significant leadership role as the division expands.
\nOur AV business currently generates approximately $1 million in annual revenue, but you won’t be starting from scratch. Create Spaces has an established commercial customer base, approximately 15 furniture salespeople with strong client relationships across Boise, Reno, and Las Vegas, an AV engineer, sales support, and two internal installers.
\nWhat You’ll Do
\nDuring the first 12–18 months, your primary focus will be growth. You’ll personally develop opportunities, meet with customers, build relationships with our existing sales team, and close AV business. We are looking for someone who enjoys selling, creating opportunities, and figuring out how to turn an existing platform into something much bigger.
\nAs the business grows, so will your role. You’ll have the opportunity to help build the AV team and take on increasing responsibility for sales strategy, vendor relationships, staffing, profitability, and ultimately the overall performance of the business unit.
\nWho We’re Looking For
\nAV experience is helpful, but it is not required. Strong candidates may come from commercial AV, technology, furniture, security/access control, low-voltage, electrical, construction, building technology, or another complex B2B sales environment.
\nMore important to us is your track record and how you think. We’re looking for someone who:
\nThis is not a traditional management position where you step in and manage an established department. We want someone who is excited by the opportunity to sell it, grow it, build the team, and eventually lead the business.
\nPreferred location is Las Vegas, with Boise also considered. Travel is approximately 25%.
\nCompensation: Base salary plus significant performance-based upside. Expected Year 1 total compensation is approximately $130,000–$160,000 , with substantially greater earning potential as the AV business grows.
